Job Summary
We are currently looking for a senior research strategist to join our Insight and Analytics team, which is the intelligence department of WE Red Bridge.
The Senior research strategist with report to the insight lead, managing multiple day-to-day client facing and internal agency requests across business groups in a dynamic team environment. This position will drive consumer understanding, data analysis and support new business pitches with market insights.
Responsibilities
Job Functions including the following 3 parts:
Insight gathering and support
• Using both internal and external data collection tools, manage cycle of sector reports, audience insights and consumer trends gatherings, brand reputation analysis, social media and media listening
• Helping agency as a whole to develop learnings and in-depth POV of key sectors, including travel, sport lifestyle, technology, consumer lifestyles
Marketing strategy
• Collaborate with different PR and communication teams in Greater China and APAC offices for travel, sport, lifestyle, technology and corporate clients, to develop brand communication and marketing strategy
• Organize and facilitate market strategy development brainstorming
• Support new business pitches by developing at-hoc qualitative and quantitative research projects to gather insights
Research projects
• Collaborate with research managers to develop research proposals customized to client’s brief; attend, support and present in both qualitative and quantitative pitches
• Develop data analysis and collection framework for qualitative, content analysis, quantitative, social listening, communities and CRM data deep dives, for key clients varies sector from consumer-facing, B2B to corporate communication
• Integrate and gather information across teams, clients, and partners as needed for projects
• Negotiate and manage client expectations and satisfaction; Assure internal and external stakeholders are aligned
• Identifies, follows, and creates new opportunities to grow and diversify current accounts and drive new business efforts including sourcing and gathering audience, industry or competitor market data
• Project types varies from market entry, NPDs, consumer insights, consumer segmentation, brand localization and naming to brand story development
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience
• Minimum/Preferred Requirements for education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field is preferred. Or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience
• Minimum/Preferred Requirements for experience and skill:
o 3 years & above experiences in below areas: 1)Market research agencies; 2)integrated communications, 3) investigative journalism and culture writing specialists, in a magazine or news outlet 4) PR and advertising, preferably in an agency setting and/or within an applicable industry.
o Exceptional writing & reporting skills in Chinese and English, demonstrated capacity of working with global business and policy press to manage story development.
• Keen interested in market data reading, human centric stories and insight
Additional Requirements:
• Flexible, agile, capable of work with different account team with varies expectation
• Critical thinking when approaching data
• High level of initiative; takes accountability for role on projects
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong client relationships
• Increased level of analysis and strategic skills based on industry knowledge
• Has established research vendors (like YouGov, TNS) and data providers (like Wiser, AdMaster) relationship
• Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks
• Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations
• Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
• Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)
