RedFern Digital is seeking a Consumer Research Intern to join our international team to cultivate and support our clients.
If you love working in a fast-paced industry, we would like to speak with you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work with a young and international team to develop insights to category and consumer trends through data analysis, social listening, competitor study, interviews, focus groups, etc. The research you take part in will help foreign brands to shape their Chinese market entry
i. Help build up category knowledge by desktop research, e-Commerce data, social listening, and other research methodologies
ii. Conduct competitor analysis through key social media and e-Commerce platforms
iii. Case study on successful market players or campaigns
iv. Support on conducting interviews and hosting focus groups
v. Consolidating interview scripts
vi. Development of consumer research reports
vii. Other tasks assigned by line managers

REQUIREMENTS:
i. Interested in market and consumer research
ii. Detail oriented and good with numbers
iii. Good command of excel and PPT
iv. Bilingual fluency in Chinese and English
v. Reliable and always keep your promise to the deadlines
vi. Heavy user of social media platforms, include but not limit to WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book, Douyin, Billibilli, etc.
vii. Ideal to have some research background, more focused on marketing research other than data science or modeling
viii. Data science background or finance/economy background is not necessarily, unless the candidate has a huge interest in marketing;
ix. Previous experience in market research is preferred
x. Major in sociology/marketing/business/research is preferred
xi. Last year of university is preferred
YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO EXHIBIT THE FOLLOWING:
i. Experience of working on a government project and other leading brands in foreign countries
ii. Opportunities for you to develop your research skills and professionalism in workplace
iii. Recommendation letter and internship certificate if needed
iv. Potentials of moving into a full-time position based on your performance during internship period
