As the Business Manager, you will lead the sales, onboarding & relationship management process for new clients in your territory.

Together with other teams, you are expected to build and cultivate our China strategies in the following areas:
• prospecting,
• relationship development,
• pricing,
• presentation and delivery,
• negotiations,
• and closing.

It is important that you demonstrate leadership qualities and work in a constructive and collaborative way with both internal counterparts on various teams across the organization, as well as our customers.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Developing the client pipeline:
• Developing new business by targeting different possible client segments in the fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle – covering both international (prime target) and local clients.
• Outreach/prospecting to get your foot in the door through your own network but including also managing cold prospects.
• Work closely with the two sister companies to benefit from their large client portefolio.

Progressively build up the sales team and manage the full cycle.
• Work closely to recruit and manage a Sales Development Representative team as you build up the initial volume of business.
• Engaging in the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to close
• Understanding client needs and building client relationships, both face-to-face (post-covid) and over the phone and video conferencing

Promoting the company’s offering:
• You become an expert in the company offerings and more generally on influencer marketing topics.
• You will be called to participate in industry event to present the company’s offering and case studies and establish potential contacts with participants. This may be done either face to face or through streaming sessions.
• Develop progressively the localized content to promote through social networks.

Work with the product and development team to support “localized” functionalities of the product.

• Coming in at the early phase of the project, you will actively be involved in designing the local version of the product.
• Being directly facing clients, you will participate in the product development priorities in a way that can reflect the local market requirements.
• Develop partnerships with the key social media platform relevant to your territory.

Capabilities & Requirements:

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have...

• Experience within a new business development role and experience in the entire sales life-cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Experience selling to consumer brands – in particular fashion, beauty and lifestyle and PR/marketing/advertising agencies
• Ideally some experience in selling SaaS solutions
• Strong interest and understanding of social networks and influencer marketing
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan their time and diary
• A curious mind with a strong desire to leverage creative problem-solving skills to develop new ideas and revenue opportunities for the organization.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced, high energy sales culture with a proven track record of high performance
• A positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
