职位描述
An (Senior) Associate supports multiple account teams while efficiently servicing each of these accounts. An understanding of the business of the agency, accounts of the agency, and the marketplace it sells to is expected. (Senior) Associates perform fundamental PR tasks such as monitoring quality and aiding in production of media related materials, managing client publications and resources materials. This position is focused on developing the necessary skill set to become a successful PR practitioner.
The job in detail:
Client:
• Manage client expectations, programs and deliverables
• Work with client on tactical issues
• Participate in client meetings and presentations (as needed)
• Prepare client-meeting reports
Media:
• Contribute to program planning and account management by researching budgets, attending brainstorms, and managing purchase orders, as directed by supervisor(s)
• Understand and have established connections to top-tier business and general media and be able to identify and familiarize with key trade editors and analysts
• Identify social media influencers and design content co-generation plans with satisfactory return on investment
• Manage mid-to-large-scale media or influencer events to ensure smooth execution
• Draft media relations materials
• Review trade and/or business media and data searches for client-related activity and information. Draw conclusions based on coverage
• Conduct media outreach and follow-up
• Manage external vendors to meet delivery schedules and quality requirements
• Research speakers’ bureau
Writing:
• Draft pitch letters, abstracts, profiles, press kit materials, releases and social media posts
• Proof and edit client related documents as needed
• Compose integrated media plans and contribute to plan development processes as needed.
Team Participation:
• Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business
• Balance workload between accounts and account staff to ensure that all work is accurate and completed within established deadlines
• Continually communicate with manager.
