Key Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager in the travel and hospitality practice, the following are key responsibilities:
Account Management (80%)
– Manage day-to-day running of accounts, working in conjunction with current account leads, with view of taking over the account leadership in three months.
– Develop comprehensive communication plans in conjunction with management.
– Manage campaigns and optimize results across traditional media, social media, and events.
– Develop and edit press material, social content and campaign copywriting.
– Manage junior team, their workload, work quality, career development and reviews.
– Manage, maintain and grow relationships with key, senior level travel, lifestyle and business editors.
– Oversee & enforce consistent adherence to media management processes: Media lists, coverage monitoring and industry coverage trends.
– Identify communication trends and educate clients & agency on them.
– Regularly explore partner agencies and suppliers to ensure coordinated approach. Oversee day-to-day account program implementation to ensure client satisfaction.
Marketing & New Business Development (15%)
– Contribute to various marketing and visibility-raising promotion activities on behalf of the Company. Such activities may include participation in various associations or groups, attending conferences or events, leading or participating in various industry forums etc.
– Collaborate with management team to develop new business proposals and attend agency presentations.
Planning/Administrative/Training (5%)
– Assist with team training and HR issues.
– Assist in setting employee goals, appraisals, development plans, etc.; work with Management in dealing with personnel matters.
– Work with Management to develop and implement company policies and procedures; reinforce Red Bridge Communications’ values and vision, ethics, culture and critical success factors.

What we expect from you:
• At least 3 years of brand communications agency experience
• Excellent communications skills in both Chinese and English
• Strong understanding of travel and hospitality industry landscape, and proven ability to inform, educate and influence agency and clients
• Possess deep understanding of the Chinese traditional and social media landscape.
• Extensive experience managing campaigns, from start to finish, for travel and hospitality brands
• Strong travel and hospitality industry and media contacts
• Experience managing clients and suppliers
• Experience managing budgets for campaigns a plus
• At least 3 years of brand communications agency experience
