Job Brief Information
The Junior Web Specialist is responsible for posting content and files to our public Web sites using a designated content management system.
Key Responsibilities
Essential:
1. Initial population of content for local language microsites in Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
2. Ongoing content management for the Japanese, Chinese (Trad & Simpl), and Korean local-language sites:
? Adding/removing index pages
? Posting and tagging content and documents
? Performing QA testing and maintenance
? Maintaining metadata to optimize search engine results
3. Posting of content to S&P DJI web sites for other global markets when postings are required during Asian market hours.
4. Resolving Issues with CMS assets as needed, working with technical support.
Nice to have:
1. Providing proofreading support for local-language Web site content and labels
2. Assist with basic translations
3. Update promotional banners with new copy

1. B.S. or equivalent
2. Proficiency in English and Chinese or Japanese (with working knowledge of the other). Familiarity with Korean a strong plus.
3. Minimum three years’ experience in one or more of the following:
- Directly managing content using CMS systems
- Web design or programming
- SQL or other relational databases
4. Basic HTML knowledge required; advanced HTML preferred.
5. English-Chinese and/or English-Japanese translation skills
6. Writing/editing skills with strong attention to detail
7. Critical thinking/problem-solving skills
8. Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision
9. Experience in the financial services industry (investment management, brokerage, or related) strongly preferred
10. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign a plus
