Job Description:
Accuen China (a unit of Omnicom Media Group) is looking for a select few candidates with passion and strong experience in digital advertising and technology. The ideal candidate will have account management skills in addition to a deep knowledge of digital media planning & buying and how data driven decisions can impact the outcome. Incredibly strong interpersonal, analytical and writing skills are also essential. He or she must also possess the ability to develop strategic plans for data driven media campaigns. Previous supervision & account management experience is required. The ideal candidate must possess also be comfortable explaining complex strategies, subtle nuances and inner workings of the DSP space to clients within the emerging digital media landscape.

Position Summary:
The Account Management Director will manage PHD/OMD clients to the achievement of performance targets. He/she will help to lead and manage a growing team and will be charged with setting and implementing strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, allocating resources across clients, and for strategic management of accounts all while meeting and surpassing client expectations. This role will also be responsible for developing, implementing and driving strategies for new client business and organic growth. A core component of this job will also be overseeing and growing aggressive revenue targets. This individual will help to manage all incoming revenue and existing campaigns sold in from Accuen.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop, deliver and maintain client account plan based on an intimate understanding of client goals and objectives to all who touch the business
• Work alongside account team to deliver on client as well as internal requests and priorities
• Identify new client opportunities and bring in appropriate resources as needed. These resources would include but not limited to product specialists and strategic partners.
• Formulation and strengthening of relationships with key decision makers within the client organizations
• Prepare presentations, proposals and case studies where appropriate and when needed
• Identify and understand key client business needs and pain points and work with the Accuen team and partners to present effective solutions
• Present the Accuen offering in a clear manner to clients at all necessary levels
• Be seen as an essential partner and key contributor in moving the end client’s business forward
• Lead and mentor the junior account and trading teams
• Be an active and enthusiastic advocate for Accuen in the marketplace and help recruit and hire on behalf of the entire company
• Work with the HR and Training & Development teams to identify hiring and education needs as they arise
• Be the lead voice and loudest client advocate to the trading, inventory, product and data teams to help bring strategies and product offerings that help meet and exceed their business needs

Required Skills, Experience and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus) 6-10 years of account experience in media, marketing, advertising or technology support, 5+ years in digital marketing and agency experience preferred
• Technical, passionate & persuasive. Skilled at solving and explaining complex problems and also providing innovative solutions.
• Well-liked and respected within the industry with strong contacts throughout it
• Master presenter with presence and the ability to lead discussions and command respect
• Intimate knowledge of sales and planning cycle in client’s respective field of business.
• Previous team management and leadership experience is required
