Job Description:
The candidate needs to have up-to-date knowledge of the social media marketplace and maintain relationships with key external vendors, media partners, and content publishers. He / she should have experience working either within an agency or with a media partner in a digital planning, social strategy, and account management function.
The candidate will need to very quickly be able to establish him/herself within Social@OMG and our client organization as an expert in the field of social media (paid, owned and earned).
The candidate is expected to negotiate with social media publishers (i.e. media partners), work with a broader cross-agency team to develop strategic recommendations, and manage a team of 3 social media managers / planners on a day to day basis.
This is a hands-on job and will require the candidate to be equally involved in the execution as he/she is in the strategic planning.

Responsibilities Include:
Support the Head of Social in product and offerings development & innovation
Manage and coordinate pitches and delivering outstanding social media campaigns, consistent with the high standards we have within OMG
Lead the team to specify deliverables and time frames for deliverables detailed within scope of work document, through dialog with partner agencies (business owners, brand owners, and content owners)
Conduct timely reviews of social strategy and execution optimization with client (weekly, monthly). And identify observations, implications and make strategic recommendations to client and agency partners on best way forward.
Have deep knowledge, and proven track record in managing KOLs (paid and organic), celebrities, and editors to maximize impact on owned and earned social platforms
Collaborate with Measurement and Analytics team to develop listening and measurement dashboards (bespoke, weekly and monthly).
Conduct ongoing workshops and training sessions delivered to CXO / Director level clients and internal stake holders usually coinciding with Quarterly Reviews and Program Steering Meetings
In partnership with agency partners develop white papers and award submission documents for internal and external circulation. Develop best practice cases within China and internationally on (e.g. content marketing, marketing effectiveness, social media effectiveness, etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience
A minimum of 6-8 years of digital marketing related experience, including a minimum of 5 years of social media experience(paid, owned and earned)
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related programs
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Mandarin
Knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices as well as a familiarity with offline media concepts
Experience with building integrated plans (working with agencies PR, ATL, BTL, digital and offline creative)
Strong mathematic and analytical skills with experience in analyzing complex data, market research, and formulating actionable plans.
Strong leaderships skills, can influence the senior staff both internally and from client side
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
