An Associate at Burson-Marsteller will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the public relations industry and be skilled in traditional media relations and social media communications.
He/she will be expected to manage a minimum of two retainer client relationships with minimal guidance and play a more active role in supporting new business.
An Associate may be expected to supervise the work of an intern, or Account Executive and delegate standard tasks accordingly.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is for the Associate to take on greater responsibility and own client relationships, including playing a leading role in developing effective programs for clients.
The Associate will be responsible for more advanced media relations, account management and play a role in new business development.
He/she will start to work as a mentor for junior members of the team and be responsible for overall program delivery.

Work experience for a minimum of two years in a Public Relations Agency or in the Communications Department of a company.
Language Requirements
