The Role:
The Account Manager has day to day responsibility for implementation & delivery of exciting digital campaigns across a small portfolio of clients. Working alongside Account Directors they will ensure effective delivery of projects to brief, schedule and budget.
What we’d like you to do:
● Build solid, trusted relationships with day to day client teams and act as main point of contact for client through project or campaign lifecycle, raising key issues to the Essence Client Director where appropriate
● Effectively coordinate internal agency resources to deliver client campaigns against agreed objectives, timelines and budgets
● Ensure all communications, reports and deliverables are subject to internal quality control processes to ensure the highest standard of quality for all agency output
● Understand client business, market and audiences to effectively input to planning and creative development process.
● Accurate and timely financial management of campaigns including estimation, reconciliation and invoicing. Supporting budgeting process (with Account Director)
● Accountability for campaign data accuracy and timely delivery of relevant and insightful performance reporting
● Support Account Director/Senior Account Manager in development of junior team members.
● Building and maintaining excellent relationships with day to day client teams

A bit about yourself:
● 2-3 years prior experience in account management or digital media at an advertising agency, or 2-3 years digital marketing experience on an in-house team
● Strong project management capabilities;
● Very well organized; attention to details; ability to multi-task and eagerness to learn
● Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers is key; You must be able to analyse numbers such as CPC or CPA, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations as needed
● A self-starter with lots of initiative and drive to succeed; you will get plenty of support but the ability to manage your own workload and identify ways to improve is crucial
● A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results
● Highly computer literate with good skills in all basic Office programs (especially Excel)
● Good communication skills, both verbal and written
● A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
